The Trustees and the Executive Committee of Rajput Samaj of UK wish you a very Happy Navratri !!

It is that time of the year in the lives of young and old to enjoy and display the traditions and worship our Goddess Ambaji for strength, peace and prosperity.

This is the event that brings us together and brings the best out of us too!

It is also the time to inform you, our esteemed members, of the events that are taking place during the Navratri this year.

Aatham will be held on SUNDAY, 9/10/2016 from 7.30pm to 11.30pm.

Last year was a great success, where we included Maha Shashtra Poojan.

We carry on from the last year and intend to make it even more interesting and eventful.

We have been approached by News18 (a CNN channel) to cover the Dusshera event, which will be telecast during their shows. We also will have officials from High Commission of India and prominent dignitaries present during the event.

Please make sure you bring your Safa and Talvar and dress in the most traditional outfits. Ladies, its Orange and Green for you this time.

Professional Video shoot of the Dusshera event will be done and DVDs will be available for purchase on the Diwali Show. Please confirm if you are interested in buying so that we can cater for DVD to be available.

Please note that you will be able to perform the Maha Shashtra Poojan as family. Please register your interest at the front desk so that we can cater for the space.

Please note that the aarti is free and bring your aartis decorated from home. Please inform the Front desk if you wish to bring your Prasad.

We always welcome your kind gestures to donate towards the hall hire during the Navratri. Please contact the Front desk or our Treasurer/Asst Treasurer.

Please note that RSUK is also now registered for Gift Aid.

We continue to get mild complaints from the members that the newsletters or emails do not reach them as they do not have access to emails.
